My tropicool bedaway

Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!
Between the heat & working crazy I'm ready for another getaway.... in my imagination.
I hope everyone gets the chance to chill in this Sunday.
This is my read for the weekend...how appropriate!!!

Add in this cool man... & my getaway in bed is complete.
Dinner is mango mojitos & two great recipes from the New York Times Recipe for Health series...Grilled Pacific Halibut with Mango Salsa & Cucumber Salsa salad. They have some great recipes. Check them out.

Finally fresh pineapple sorbet. Love to everyone & thank you for the lovely compliments...you really made my week.

Hi Alicia.. I know the feeling about work overload, but the heat... it's a tad chilly here! I've taken to watching 'The Day After Tomorrow' whenever we have a heatwave downunder. Ramp up the aircon.. and on with the DVD... it seems to help. Lovely images and beautiful post as always. Julie

Wow, you really have taken me away! I can almost feel that hammock, a cool breeze and a cocktail in my hand. Oh and a good book. But the cool breeze and cocktail are more satisfying.

A very very pretty blog... did I mention pretty?

And girly... can't forget girly... it's a good thing to be girly, you know... if you actually ARE a girl... it's good.

I was just thinking the other day that there weren't enough hammocks and mojitos in our neighborhood!
Very refreshing pictures and mood!

Hi Alicia,

These recipes look scrumptious! I need to try the mango mojito though, since I am Cuban and I am a big fan of mojitos...
I finally had a chance to go to the Hampton Designer Showhouse yesterday...It was such a nice break from job searching...I really needed that, It completely inspired me and recharged my battery..Stop by when you can...the rooms are great!

I say the heck with the halibut & the healthy stuff & I'm grabbing Keith Urban, the mojito's & pineapple sorbet & heading straight for that hammock. However, I may have to blind & gag him first!
Thanks for the lovely get-a-way my friend. Always a pleasure to be in your company!
