The invitation reads salivating required

First off thank you, thank you for all the lovely words concerning my words. I'll be throwing in a piece here & there from my collected works, but enough about me....

This is the luncheon I yearn to attend, if only before others arrive so in the solitude I can drink in how luscious, impressionistic this occasion is, especially considering the fact that this takes place in a nursery. Yes, a nursery but not just your average nursery. This is Petersham (Simone, did your face just light up??).

Petersham Nursery is beyond the description of a nursery. An award winning cafe & tearoom, the emporium of antiques & garden fixtures & adjacent house, are the best accessories to it greenhouses & gardens, not to mention a website I lose all sense of time in. Literally past midnight, weary to my surprise, wondering was it really almost 2AM???

This affair extraordinaire was given in honour of American master C.L. Twombly's exhibition at the Tate. His use of color through splashes is the inspiration creation that is this luncheon.
Explore & pray it remains to grace this gentrified world. Visit & all shall be explained & mesmerized as you whisk & drift through the aisles & miles of floriferous deliciousness.

Oh my, oh my, oh my...I can hardly believe the beauty of this place. You certainly perked up my bleak day. Cannot wait to visit their website. Thanks for introducing this dreamy nursery to me.

P.S. - & you are SO right about Club Monaco. Never spot print ads. Wish they would sell online. Thanks for your great comments as always!

What a beautiful, beautiful place. What a wonderful place to get to go. Since my parents owned a modest Home and Garden Shop in the 1950's I appreciate what it takes to present such a lovely place. xo Joan

Thanks for visiting my little world, Alicia - and just to let you know - I found a ton of metal stamping kits for around $20 on ebay!
