Cupcakes for a cause.....

6 days a week, 10 hour days have left me little time lately to breathe much less blog & for that I'm sorry. Once we fill a position at work, I'll be back. Heck I've even some killer recipes to share. ( Proscuitto, chevre pizza with fresh greens & my fig balsamic glaze...pizza!!)
For the moment I ask you to bake an ecupcake. Yup!! Design one, send it your friends & 1800FLOWERS will donate a dollar to Cancercare For Kids, a norganization that provides support for families of children with cancer. They've only had 2400 cupcakes sent??? So with $2600 dollars still up for grabs I figure the blog world can kill that in a few hours.

Now go bake a Cupcake for a Cause & yes I shall return.

What a great idea! Thanks for giving me the info! I am going to go and check out Bee Sweet Cupcakes in New Orleans and ask if they are participating! Thanks! Hope you had a great weekend.

Yeah yeah... Alicia's back..
Poor petal working all those hours... I know I collapse into just sleep and eat and wash clothes on the weekends so I feel for you. Now even in your busy-ness still thinking of others.. I will be sure to get e-baking!!! It will most likely be the only baking I do! haha... Take Care Alicia and take your time.. xx Julie

Alicia, I know the feeling -- the past few weeks I've found less and less time to blog!

Miss you Alicia - I think we are all in the same boat. No time for us bloggers, makes me sad. Looking forward to your wonderful posts & raising money for fighting cancer for kids is marvelous. Shall get started on my design skills to whip up a cancer fighting cupcake!
All the best to you,
Xdeb

Oh I need a job, I'd take it if I was qualified but I'm in Los Angeles... Don't worry, your blog remains on my list!!! I can't wait for your pizza recipes! Yum!

The cupcake idea is sweet! Did you make this one? It's pretty! Do you just take a picture and send it in? Can the cupcakes be hand delivered? What if I eat one or two or um... do they count? This sounds fun!
