An amuse bouche of delovely Rouge....

As dedicated as I am to blues & greens with smatterings of pinks, this morning my brain is seriously seeing red. Perhaps its the patriotic moments of the past weekend but one could say my mind is saturated with a tray of amuse bouche dans rouge.

Blossoming, I love the way it can delicately relate to light & whites...

but honestly isn't there something so right about the way a crimson room can just zoom through your soul & set it afire!!!

From royal & regal .....

in a blink you can rethink it as vintage & kitsch...

Nothing can send a rush like that deepest blush. The thrills of it all is the chill that I get from delicious red, red, red!!!

Oh wow, your blog is absolutely lovely.... wonderful photos!
I have to tell you that I keep seeing you on so many blogs I have looked on recently and I keep thinking you are a friend of mine because you look so like her!! I just saw on Heidi Claire's blog (looking at those fabulous kitchens), so I thought I would take a look at your blog - it was so worth it!
Thank you!

Oh red, will I ever tire of you? I'm guessing NOPE! These photos are all so beautiful. The only thing that would have made this post any better is if I while reading it whilst eating a piece of the red velvet and sipping a pomegranate bellini .

Listen, thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I really appreciated the comment you left about that Chanel bag. Who'd have thunk I'd have such ill feelings towards a paper bag (I really do though, maybe I need to 'discuss' it with a professional)? LOL.

I'm SO happy to hear that about Caroline. I call her 'The Consigliere'. I just love her blunt 'this works for me I really don't care what you think about it' attitude and the love she shows her family. I see a lot of myself in her. I love that you asked her about her tops. I've been admiring her clothes during the episodes too! and P.S. I'm totally crushing on her son Albie.

Listen feel free to come back and visit my blog anytime. I've jumped on board as one of your followers and like your blog so much I've added it to my blogroll.

All the best-

THL

Alicia.....I think we are kindred spirits!! LOL

I moved from Wales to London in 1972 and it probably would have been 1974-6 that I was dreaming of my knickerbocker glory future!

There is nothing like Cadburys chocolate, you are right.....there are many more expensive and exotic brands, goodness knows I have tried enough of them (!) but Cadburys is just so good.

Lovely to hear from you, thank you so much for your nice comments on my blog....I had another look at your blog today, I just love your red "amuse-bouche" post.....GORGEOUS!!

Happy Week-end,
Simone :)

Ooh, I love the room with the solid red walls and white federal mirrors. And I am a sucker for Red Velvet Cake! Have a great weekend! xo

nothing is as delightful as red, except maybe Audrey Hepburn!

I'm not often a red person - except lipstick - but ALL of these images are wonderful. But particularly Audrey and those shoes in the last image. Great Post!

I love that ice cream cabinet. As traditional as I am, i love quirky things like that. I have an old doctor's cabinet in my kitchen.

Red is such an interesting color...as a redhead, it has truly defined my life. However, in my home I don't think I have even a speck of red! No red clothes, no red in my decor. So, I enjoy red decor in the blogs, and this was a particularly enjoyable post!

As you can tell, I LOVE red. Such fun photos you've found. Thanks for coming by for a visit. I'm glad you like my DD1's room. It's not really finished, but she does love it and she's 21! Not bad, huh?
